"The Eternal Festival, which brought the South African festival artist Daniel Popper to Mykonos to construct a large-scale figurative sculptural installation that reinterprets the story of Apollo’s birth, building a metaphorical bridge between the Scorpios peninsula and ancient Delos. Daniel Popper is a multidisciplinary artist known globally for his larger-than-life sculptures, and spectacular public art installations. From Cape Town, South Africa, Daniel has travelled the globe creating an array of sculptures , installations and stages. Daniel Popper has created ethereal installations for the Modem Festival Croatia, Electric Forest Festival USA and many more. He will be exhibiting five new installations at the Morton Arboretum in Chicago, USA, which opens on April 9, 2021.

South African artist Daniel Popper, known for his massive figurative sculptures, has constructed a new artwork as part of an arts and culture festival in Tulum, Mexico. The towering installation is titled Ven a la Luz (come into the light), and is comprised of wood and rope formed into a female figu.
